I’m happy to announce that the 2012 Women of Influence list has been finalized.
“The 2012 Women of Influence have been picked and full biographies will come in April when the awards are given. For now, click through the photo gallery to see their names.
Here’s a peek at the women you’ll meet in the April 6 special publication. On this year’s list, you’ll find the CEO of one of the largest tech companies in the world, an entrepreneur on startup No. 4, a CEO improving the world’s drinking water, and venture capitalists from the most sought-after firms on Sand Hill Road. Their nominators have called them “dynamic leaders,” “trailblazers,” and “role models.” Their free time is devoted to nonprofits, boards, mentorships, and of course struggling to find that elusive work-life balance.
Here you’ll see the full list, but in the April 6 issue, you’ll find out who they are. You’ll learn what their biggest workplace accomplishments have been, their five-year goals, and even some of their biggest “whoops.” (One of my early favorites: One honoree watched her computer catch fire while giving a demo at her first sales job.)
Also, we’ll be hosting the Women of Influence dinner and awards gala on April 26, where you can meet this year’s honorees (and many of the previous awardees). Click on the panel on the right to see the full list. Then look for next month’s special publication to learn more.
