One Million Lights and Renew TC Announce “Share the Light” partnership to provide turnkey programs to end Energy Poverty and serve people without access to clean light and energy.
“One Million Lights founder, Anna Sidana, is a well-respected and passionate thought leader within the energy poverty community,” said Gene Palusky, Renew TC’s founder and CEO. “When we thought about combining our engineering, manufacturing, and distribution strengths with Anna’s tremendous commitment to ending Energy Poverty, network of sponsors, field program management experience, and 501.c.3 status, our partnership just made sense.”
One Million Lights and Renew TC are partnering with established non-government organizations (NGO) who possess the global reach, country directors and “last tactical mile” distribution networks in developing countries. The immediate goal is to collaboratively develop 5-10 “turnkey” fielding programs with our NGO partners and to present these campaigns to sponsors and donors. The long-term vision is ending global Energy Poverty by means of developing sustainable partnerships between- The Share
the Light project/NGOs/corporate and foundation sponsorship.
“When your goal is helping 1.3 billion people in need, there is a tremendous sense of urgency,” said Anna. “You couldn’t ask for a more perfect partner. Gene’s heart, his team and his amazing Torch flashlight are just what we needed. Together, with our partners, we will move forward to end global energy poverty.”
