One Million Lights is a part of the World of Color public charity, a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Palo Alto, CA.

One Million Lights
One Million Lights' mission is to improve the daily lives of children and adults by providing clean and healthy lighting.

To accomplish this, we are distributing solar lights to families around the world. These solar lights replace environmentally toxic kerosene lamps and enable children to study at night. One Million Lights also works with local schools to increase awareness of global issues. Our goal is to distribute one million (1,000,000) solar lights to replace kerosene lamps.

World of Color
World of Color's mission is to improve the daily lives of children and adults in rural parts of the world.

World of Color is engaged in projects in many different areas of rural life, with a goal to addressing global problems such as the need for healthy and clean lighting, water, and others. We strive to use innovative and eco-friendly technologies to enable developing and rural communities to ease the struggle of daily life.  These communities are primarily focused on survival. Our goal is to provide these families with the means to remove obstacles in daily life and prosper. Our first initiative is in the area of solar lighting, with a focus on education.
