Julia Ransohoff along with her sister, Katie, and brother, Sam, has started Running for a Reason, a club that combines non-competitive running and charity giving. The club was put together in the summer of 2003 by Katie, Julia and their brother Sam Ransohoff. Our entire fundraising effort has been in support of the work of Hospice of the Valley in particular, support of children. All fundraising efforts have been from bakesales, raffles and support for our endurance training to run a 5K.
The Running for a Reason crew will be collaborating with One Million Lights on a book drive and solar light program in the developing world. We’ll keep you posted on how to get involved!
